Auction Services Overview

Advanced Auctioneers conducts Live Auctions conducted by a professional auctioneer who knows and understands the product to be sold. Real Time Internet Bidding is offered in most cases, which allows world wide participation and literally thousands of bidders to bid and buy over the internet from the comfort of their home or office. The process of having an auction is more involved than just the day of the event. The following details our process in a general course of action.

ON SITE INSPECTION - First, a representative from Advanced Auctioneers will make an onsite visit to inspect the property, where the assets to be sold are identified. Logistics, removal and general time lines are considered as we develop a plan suited to each particular event.

INVENTORY - A full description of all auction assets is made, while major assets are photographed in preparation for advertising.

MARKETING - Identifying the end user is where the marketing process begins. A direct mail brochure is created and distributed weeks or months prior to the auction, depending on the magnitude of the event. Display ads in trade publications and major market newspapers are also created and disbursed by our skilled advertising team. When called for,a fax or email blast provides additional notification or the combination of the two. Personally contacting buyers is where or "personal" touch comes in, as we utilize Telemarketing to answer questions and ensure the right buyers are present on sale day.

AUCTION SET-UP - We then arrange the auction in the "sale order", assigning a lot number, complete description and taking a photo which enables the online bidding process. Signage is created in an effort to notify potential bidders during the inspection process of terms and conditions involved.

AUCTION DAY CATALOG - Upon completion of the set-up, an Auction Day Catalog is produced for all bidders to have during the preview. This includes a printed article with lot number as well as description for the buyer to make notes on. It also includes the set terms and conditions.

INSPECTION PERIOD - The inspection of the assets to be sold is then ready for all potential buyers, and any other situations that may arise are resolved. Inspection is managed by an auction manger of Advanced Auctioneers. Inspection can last anywhere from one day to one week prior to sale day.

AUCTION DAY - On auction day, Advanced Auctioneers registers all bidders by taking their contact information, distributing a catalog and bidder paddle. The auction begins with reading the terms and conditions so everone is clear of what is expected of them as a buyer and all bidders are aware of any changes or deletions. The auction is conducted by a professional auctioneer knowledgable in the product to be sold. Lots may be sold individually, or in combination of lots consisting of an entire product line. The auctioneer does this at his descretion, using his experience, to ensure that the assets bring the highest value possible.

CHECK OUT - The goal of check out is to make sure that all assets are removed within the time constraints set forth in the terms, and that the property is left in a suitable condition. Advanced Auctioneers may have a representative on site to oversee the removal of assets and coordinate with riggers, if necessary.

SETTLEMENT - Advanced Auctioneers will leave the seller with a copy of all transactions which transpired on auction day. This will include a list of all registered bidders, all assets sold with their respective price as well as the total amount sold. Advanced Auctioneers will remit funds less expenses of conducting the auction to the seller no more than 21 days after conclusion of the auction.

Online Auction Services

Advanced Auctioneers can facilitate the sale of assets either solely online or inconjunction with a real time auction conducted by a professional auctioneer.

•The Online Only auction works well in a situation where it is not convenient to have a large crowd tour through a plant that is still in production, or when you are selling assets from multiple locations. All bidders are able to inspect the equipment by appointment enabling them to do their due dilligence, then bid and buy from the convenience of their home or office.

•The Real Time Simulcast works in real time with a live auction where the bidder may not be able to physically attend the auction on sale day. This option gives satellite bidders the opportunity place bids and buy just as if they were present.

Advanced Auctioneers partners with Bidspotter.com to bring literally thousands of potential buyers to your auction that would not regularly, or could not physically be there.
